| ♥ Torn Preview I've thought so that this track would be one of the new songs which is to be released in their new album. Did you remember one of the songs HoMin sang during SMTown Live 2010? Well, this piece was actually introduced by Yunho. That was why it's even better! I've thought the preview during SMTown was pretty good, but to be able to listen to the full version is even better! Indeed, both of them haven't disappoint me yet. If only all five of them were to sing this, it'll triple the joy, I bet. But something is always better than nothing. I'll be looking forward to the fuller version of this, and also the rest of the album. I'm afraid I'll get back to my habit of buying TVXQ stuff soon. I just need to have this too!! And oh Changmin is just soooooooo... *insert your own word of crazy-fan-girl-praise here* Jaejoong!! Where are you!!!??
♥ You And I It's been a while, hasn't it. Well, life has been pretty busy even though I'm actually on a long break from uni. This is what you get when you procrastinate, I'm telling you. There were so many things I pushed back before I went overseas earlier this year. So now I have to finish all those stuff before I have to return overseas again next year. *sigh* This time I'd like to introduce you to another good singer that I grew fond of lately: Park Bom. She's a part of 2NE1, which is another awesome girl group (and might be the only girl group that I'll ever approve of). This is her solo piece called 'You And I'. Isn't this song just lovely? It has both the elements of giddiness and sadness, which I like. It feels fresh, and I just love her voice. There aren't many people with that voice who can pull it of in a song like this. I wish she could make more solo pieces and produce her own solo album, just like TaeYang. Speaking of albums, I just received the news that TVXQ's new album will be released on the 5th of January. Well, I just can't feel the excitement at all. It's not that I don't believe in them as much anymore, but it will never be the same without all five of them. I know Yunho and Changmin will be able to pull this off their own way, and they'll be able to make us proud. But Yunho and Changmin aren't TVXQ, JYJ isn't TVXQ. TVXQ only exists when the five of them are together. Otherwise, who would be able to sing Bolero or Love In The Ice as beautifully anymore? I bet even Shinee can't sing it as good as TVXQ did, even being the same five membered group that they are... Just look at the photo teaser, SM is just being ridiculous!!  I understand that these people enjoy being the entrepreneur of culture and style. And in a few month's time, this new make-up style will be a hit and smoking hot-stuff! But if you think about it right now, it's just ridiculous. I thought JYJ's heavy eye-line for The Beginning was already too heavy. But this? This is like flipping our minds into believing that right is wrong and wrong is right! I'm being honest, and I don't really like this new style... But I will still love Changmin and Yunho for who they are, and I will still admire them for their hardwork, so I will keep on supporting them. And would you like me to tell you about something else? Have you heard of SM The Ballad? Ok, first I have to be honest that I like the song 'Miss You'. And maybe a couple more songs from them. But I still have to say this. SM should stop trying to find a replacement for TVXQ, because there won't be any. Sure the four boys can take those high notes, but singing isn't just about getting to the notes. And what's with using Kyuhyun and Jonghyun? What are they expecting from fans and netizens? To forget about TVXQ and move on? Hell no! Until the day they'll be able to find another five boys that are as good as Yunho, Changmin, Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu put together, they will never be able to replace TVXQ in any of our hearts. Period. And as a side note, 'Miss You' has a pretty good composition. But there wasn't any spark that could get me to listen to it for thousands and thousands of times when SM The Ballad sang it. I don't think I'll even remember it after 30 days. Unlike Love in The Ice and Doushite, just to name a few. I'm not bashing, dears. I'm just stating an opinion. A factual one at that. haha~ ♥ I Had Too Many Second Chances... Between all the TVXQ members, whose composed song would you enjoy the most? I mean, almost all of them has composed a song before, at least once. I think Yunho is the only one who haven't wrote a song before while Yoochun had wrote too many. Yoochun is a pretty established song writer. I think if he wasn't part of TVXQ, he would've been a professional at that. His songs are very enjoyable. Some of them do sound weird at the first listen, but I guess when the tune comes straight from your heart, it will always be able to make its way into other people's heart as well... My favourite song writer is the one who sang this song below... <3 I'm not lying, but my heart is captured the moment I listened to its first beat! I have to admit, Jaejoong's songs has this ability on me. If I'm not mistaken, this is the third song from Jaejoong that has been added into a full length album. 9096 and Wasurenaide has its own charm that I can't explain as well. I have no idea what's playing inside that man's brain when he write songs. But his pieces are just amazing. Every time I listened to this song 'Still In Love', I just felt like he's groping onto my heart. Nerve butterflies starts to fly around, and it almost felt like he was embracing me with the melody. How incredible is that? Absolutely, I've never felt like this when listening to a song, even his previous ones. And I'm not a fan of R&B to begin with! The only downside of this song is his pronunciation. But we all can't blame him, can we? He was the worst English speaker among the TVXQ members, I think. To think of it, he had never spoken English words unless for those one or two words in TVXQ's songs. Hmm, amazing. This man has never failed to surprise me. This is a bit off topic, but I can't help comparing between him and Changmin. Everyone knows that I like Shim Changmin, for reasons still unknown even to myself. I just find him having the most similarities with me that it really felt like he could have been my twin. (yeah, I secretly wished I had a male twin hehe) But I also like Jaejoong for a whole different reasons. People would say that Jaejoong is desirable because of his hot looks, melodious voice and great humour whereas Changmin would have people say he's ultimately handsome and amazingly witty. There, Changmin already lost a point from Jaejoong, since Jaejoong has 3 desirable characteristics and Changmin only has two (consider this as a metaphore, will you?). In the showbiz, people would immediately like Jaejoong if not at first glance due to those characters. But I'm not one of them, because I see people in a whole different angle... While Changmin could be a man who we know will do his best in everything, Jaejoong is the kind of man who secretly works his way up to impress other people. That's what I think... Jaejoong's charms is not within his hot looks, melodious voice, or even his great humour. His real charms lays within himself, the desire to be the best to make himself desirable. Other people has similar desires as well I'm sure, but Jaejoong's effort simply shows off this special glow within himself. Or am I the only one who can see it? Anyways, please enjoy Jaejoong's latest composed song. I know I could only comprehend 85% of the song even though it's in English. Yeap, it was due to his weird pronunciation in some of the words. But the phrase that caught my attention at my first listen was 'I Had Too Many Second Chances...' It just felt like a whole fanfic all over again. So far, I'm missing two of the concerts that I've been dreaming most to go to... As I've said in my previous post, one of them is JYJ's World Tour Showcase. Seriously, I'm dreading the online community just because of this at the moment. You have no idea how jealous I'm becoming each time I saw a comment from my fellow Malaysian if ever they mention about going to the showcase. I'm from Malaysia! I'm supposed to be able to go! If only I'm not studying abroad... :( And what saddens me more is the fact that Australia is not included in the world tour list when there's so many stops in the US. It's not fair! I swear, if the survey to make them come to Australia succeeds, I'm going to ask to postpone my flight back to Malaysia!! It's not every year that they'll come to meet fans like this... The other event that I'm missing is Maher Zain's live concert in Shah Alam!!!! ARGHHHH!! I know I've met him before in Sounds of Light here in Brisbane. But God, this one is HIS OWN concert! LOL~ At the first video, he requested for lights towards the audience. He wants to be able to see his audience when he sings. I think he has learned plenty from our reactions in the Sounds of Lights. He wasn't as communicative with the audience that much at first. He was like into his own world. But towards the end of his performance in Sounds of Light, he starts to acknowledge the audiences more, particularly at us Malaysians since we were doing hand waves all throughout his songs LOL! But from what I saw in the fancams, he already made contact with the audience the moment he steps onto the stage! That's a really really good sign! I can tell he's excited to meet other Malaysian fans after he met us. hehe Oh how I wish I can be part of that crowd again... p/s: I just noticed! Maher Zain's Malaysia's photo album on facebook has the most pictures out of all his other albums. Riverfire is like the annual 'play with the fireworks' kind of night, I think. It was the coolest thing ever! And I've missed it! We had our usual Iftar With The Girls yesterday night, and the event started at around 7pm, which was when we were performing Isya' and tarawih prayers. And this time it was held at one of our coursemate's house in Taringa. It's a bit far from St Lucia, but its a lovely place, very hilly~ XD (I saw a Bentley parked outside of their neighbour's house! This is insane!!) Since the Riverfire was held at Brisbane River, definitely we won't have the closest view, but we can still see it from afar! Gosh, it was BEAUTIFUL! Very colourful, and definitely TOO MUCH fireworks! And very noisy even from Taringa lol! The Riverfire is held all the way along the Brisbane River, so there aren't any specific place you can sit at and be able to watch everything. Unless you're watching it from the sky. =) I found some good videos on it. As if a ball of fire just came out of nowhere into the sky. It was loud and VERY bright! And it roamed the sky for a while. One of my friends commented that it sort of felt like The End of Days~ And just now I thought the ball of fire looked like a relative of Superman is coming to visit. XD Haha! They say that September is the festival month in Brisbane. It's only been the 5th of September, I wonder what else they have in store for this lovely community~ :D  So instead of enjoying the colourful fireworks up close, we get to eat Pavlova my housemate made for us! And since I'm supposed to be the one who wakes everyone else, my housemates didn't either... =__= And now I'm hungry~ Damn, how did it suddenly turn out to be me who have to go and wake other people? Am I the only one in the house who is NOT immune to the alarm clock? Come on man, I have to set my alarm at three intervals just to make sure that I wake up no matter what. I plan to sahur at 4am everyday, so I'll set my alarm at 3.45am, 4am and 4.15am so that I can be sure the alarm will go off three times because I'm one of those who will never press on 'snooze' whether I'm awake or not. I can't help but straight away press 'stop', even when I plan on closing my eyes for a few more minutes and hoping for the alarm to go off again in a few minutes. Just to be on the safe side, let's just create plenty of alarms, right? But them, hmm~ Everytime I was preparing my own sahur, I will definitely catch the sound of their own alarms going off, but I guess sleeps can really make you deaf~ =_=' So if it's not me who wakes up first, then no one else will... Yesterday my class was full. From 10am till 6pm straight, one-hour break only. Gosh, two lectures, one tutorial and one PASS session all in one day can really make my head cramp. And my Monday was as busy as Tuesday. Moday classes starts at 12pm and ends at 6pm, with NO breaks at all. Two busy days in a row, and now I have a headache which I don't know how to get rid of. And since my stomach is empty at the moment, it's making the headache much worse. Maybe that's why I couldn't wake up for sahur today, even when I purposely slept a little early than usual. *sigh* Well, let's just hope I'll be able to finish what I plan to do today since it's a free day for me. No class, yipppeee!!~ But I have 3 tests to settle and FOUR 2-hour-lectopias to revise. My headache just got worse. I know that I promised to tell my tale of The Mystical Journey to Sydney el-Canberra. But I was busy updating my laptop and installing all the free softwares that were still missing including all types of media players, winrar and most importantly PHOTOSHOP 7.0! Yes baby! I finally get my PS7 back!! And now I'm in the process of stalking soompi for awesome stock of brushes, textures, fonts and pictures! And while I'm at that, guess what I found... JENG JENG JEEENG!! But the lonely feeling suddenly came and all I can think about are the times that I had with TVXQ, the times when I was crazily browsing for even a glimpse of news about them, especially in dbsknights... and the times when I was crazily buying all their stuff just to have a portion of them to be very close to me. So I went on youtube (after the longest time) and browsed through. Hey, I was actually trying to find some videos to include into my Marketing Presentation okayyyy~ Only after I finished, I searched randomly for TVXQ videos. Oh darn... I came across a few of their variety shows, especially the ones that I haven't watched before~ It's like turning back time. And I can feel all the burden of my uni life being lifted up slowly as I laughed at the adorkable jokes the boys sincerely made out of their purest hearts~ :D I miss them. Enough said... Then I came across this video... I know I've fell in love with this song very deep before. And after some time, new songs came out and the Japanese media was focusing on Stand By U, I started to forget the feel that this song had given me. When I listened to it again now, oh how the tears fought hard not to drop. I've listened to BOLERO so many times in my MP3 everyday, yet when I watch them singing it LIVE again, I just can't control my emotions anymore. It is such a beautiful song, and I don't know a better way to describe it for fear that I will ruin the impression if I didn't choose the right enough words... So, I kind of have a reason why I choose this particular performance among all their other BOLERO performances. Their vocals are extremely superb in here (and also during the TSC concert). You must've realised that they had a hard time singing BOLERO LIVE at first due to the 6-beat and also the extremely high notes. But they managed to get everything back in place after a few more practises, and I can't be more proud. And I have a request... does anyone have a direct download link to this performance? I'm searching for the very very very HQ version. I don't care how big the file size is, but it has to be avi and of High Quality. I'm a bit emotional at the moment. No, I haven't been listening to 'With All My Heart', but I just re-watched MAMA on 8TV, went to soompi's DBSK thread and listened to TOKI WO TOMETE! don't cry DON'T CRY! First of all, watching MAMA on Malaysian television does made me feel different. I thought it won't affect me, seeing them on TV. Because it's definitely not the first time I watched the scene of JaeChunSu on stage receiving the Best Asia Star Award. Hell, I replayed it a thousand times on youtube during 2009! I do feel touched, but no tears fell back then. Well, maybe I'm a bit of an ignorant person. But now, gosh... Seeing the show right from 2NE1's performance, their award introduction by 2NE1 and who-the-hell-was-the-guys, and watching the short video of all other popular Korean stars like Rain, BaeYongJun, ParkTaeHwan etc... The award is TOTALLY unexpected! And of course, the feelings of depression due to the lawsuit came back all in one go. It has been a few months since the court released the first half of the court's diction, and things are starting to get quiet. Furthermore, with Break Out single topping charts again, and the Best Album's release is tomorrow, TVXQ has managed to soothe our hearts. Because all these meant that they're still alive and waiting, just like us! With all these overwhelming feelings of happiness and excitement, once the lawsuit came into mind again, and the scene of Jae breaking down on stage, I just can't explain the feeling. Everything is... melancholy... Keeping that feeling stored in my mind for quite a while, I went on Soompi, suddenly being curious of what those kids were up to this time of day. And darn! Why do I always came in at all the wrong timings! Shit shit shit! They were REMINISCING the times of their fandom. They were sharing their bittersweet memories from the beginning until now. From the moment they learned about TVXQ, no matter how long/short it was, up until this day where TVXQ's Best Album is already on sale all over Japan! Trust me, you wouldn't want to read them all. All that was playing inside my head was Me too! I felt that! Same here! and many others as I went on reading one of the longest essay a soompi member wrote. And the feeling I had inside my chest worsen. They managed to emphasize how great TVXQ is in their hearts. No matter how good the other Korean Idol Groups are, TVXQ is at a completely different level that can't be reached by others. They're simply THE ONE AND ONLY. And I just had to agree. OH GOD HOW I MISS THOSE GOOD TIMES... Yes, I made this video myself~ In conjunction with DTL's TVXQ's 6th Anniversary Celebration Video Project (gosh, what a long name..), I decided to submit my own video to be spread all over video sites on the internet! hehee have a look out for it. ^^ It took me about 8 hours to come up with this video (excluding sleeping and eating and visits to the restroom~ XD).
