| ♥ Wedding Dress I don't know why but seriously I can't stop listening to this song. I know it's not a new song at all, but I'm not a constant stalker of kpop updates either. I knew about this song, of course, but I didn't really wanted to listen to it then. What made me change my mind? Well, I went to request a fanfic trailer at Vanilla Sky and the trailer maker used Big Bang's Tell Me Goodbye as the opening theme and it turned out to be a really lovely song! So I searched youtube and listened to its full version. Which after that lead me to Wedding Dress by TaeYang~ =) If you want to know what triggers me to write the previous post, it was this song: Wedding Dress. I just can't get enough of the piano tune all throughout the song! It's so melancholy. And the song itself is simply brilliant. It's like a whole fanfic in just a few verses of words. The song writer is a genius! XD And the song also has its sad and happy elements. The guy wants the girl, yet he willingly lets her go just so that she can have her happiness. Well, actually the story is much deeper than that, since the three of them were really close friends, which makes thing a whole lot more complicated, haha! But its a sweet storyline. And the groom is so handsome! I thought he looked a lot like Kim HyunJoong, only more handsome~ especially when he got this intense stare at you, and he's really cute when he smiles! Sorry, TaeYang. I know you're supposed to be the star in the MV, but the groom shines more than you did! XD p/s: I didn;t wake up for sahur today. =_= Maybe because I was too full after the wonderful Iftar With The Girls. We had another one yesterday and its at one of our senior's house. They made traditional malay dishes and all of them are really delicious! Tempe goreng, Ikan masak lemak, Sambal belacan, and Bubur pulut hitam. OMG, I've been craving for it for quite some time hahahhhh~ Then there was oreo cheesecake and fererro rocher ice-cream! :D Eventhough I didn't sahur, I still feel kind of full~ ^^ Labels: Iftar, piano, Ramadhan, Spazz ♥ Iftar With The Girls =) It's such a wonderful third day of Ramadhan. (well, for us it's only been the third, since we started fasting on Thursday). The girls have gathered at our house for Iftar this week - as this will be our weekend routine during this beautiful month, except that we'll rotate houses of course. XP This has been the case since a few years back and we're just continuing the Brissy Iftar tradition. :D (I don't know about the guys, but we girls surely have our OWN thing going on, heheh) The host of the Iftar (for this week, it's us, and another house, but we can't remember where) will have to provide the place and the main course for the day. We had to separate into two groups since there's about 60 of us girls in total. So 30 heads for each house, two houses per week. What we've decided for the main course was Nasi Ayam, and my housemate (fatin) wanted to add something else just in case the volume we end up with is insufficient, so we were planning to add some Pasta in. But it turned out that even the Nasi Ayam was more than sufficient. And we still have a whole pot of pasta sauce on our stove right at this moment. =_= I wonder how we're going to finish it before it turns bad LOL! Since there were about 30 people coming in, we had to borrow Walaa and Sakina's unit since their hall is more spacious than ours, so it'll be more comfortable during the jamaah prayers. People started arriving at 5.00pm since break-fast is at 5.30pm, but still there were a few more dishes that weren't quite ready. Luckily, the chef was 'ABC' so she joined us a bit later just to get the dishes done. It was a fun night. We break fast, do Maghrib jamaah, ate the wonderful Nasi Ayam buffet, started on Isya' jamaah before completing the night with tarawih and some tazkirah. What was more interesting was that Farhah invited one of her new friends who was an Australian convert. Oh, she was such a lovely lady. I think she might be over 40 y/o. She's very lovely and talks quite a lot too. She told us about the real Australian culture that we won't ever see with our own true eyes. My my, what we think is such a peaceful community isn't as peaceful and lovely as we thought. But I won't go into details on that. It's enough that I know where I'm at now (St Lucia) is very VERY safe for muslim foreigners. Everything ended about 8.30pm, but I went back at our own unit around 9pm because these people really love the 'bonding' session after gatherings. But I really can't stay because I know it might last until late at night, listening to them talking about their friends whom I don't even know, and especially when they started conversing in Arabic with each other, it's just best if I excuse myself. hehe It was really... a very lovely night, since the food was good, the people were nice and the event went smoothly. I'll be looking forward to our next Iftar gathering next Saturday! ^_^ but I forgot where~ LOL! p/s: sorry if the post was boring. I had no time to take pictures and I'm too tired to search for substitutes~ haha! Just try to enjoy my essay kay~ XD |
