I've just found the most awesomest MV ever!! I can't believe that it hadn't been promoted enough to let me know its existence. It was released waaaaay back in March 2011. But I've only heard it like a few nights ago. Seriously, it's like one of the best I've ever seen, both the clip and the song.

I first came across this song through its instrumental piece, which I heard from a friend's tumblr. At the first listen itself I was already captivated, drowned by the tunes and melodies that felt so much like myself. As if they were telling an untold story about myself, things that I can't put into words, it was complete and fulfilling. It was just... perfect. I didn't know what song it was then because there wasn't a name on the playlist, so I left that friend a short message asking about the song. And this morning she replied me, and I immediately youtubed the song, and listened to the full version for the first time. I didn't care who sang it, how she looked like, or where she came from. What was on my mind was only the song. A little while later, I started to pay attention to the MV, specifically its storyline. Hehe... Watch it and tell me how you think the storyline actually goes. ;) Gosh this is fun!

SO, who do you think is the stalker and who's the real victim?

After thinking the whole day (kidding!), I strongly believed that the stalker is actually the girl. Why? Even though the 'stop stalking me' parts are sang by Ms Song, MV-wise the lead female held the most negative persona overall. Look at her make-up, her style, and her actions. To me, the girl looked almost like those psycho stalkers in English psycho-thriller movies. She could be driven by the evil voices inside her head, which led her to killing the guy. Who knows exactly why she killed him when she actually claimed that she loved him. Well, we'd never understand psychos anyways now would we? Besides, the guy was too hot to be a stalker/psycho. :p Demmit I replayed the part with the guy almost a gazillion times trying to picture how his whole face would look like without the blindfold. Eyes are my weakest point! I need to know who played the guy.. -_- Ok that's besides the point. But really, the guy looked normal enough to be innocent. In the end, the girl was like 'If I can't have you, then no one else will'.

However, if the song was to be listened by itself, of course we'd picture the girl being stalked by the guy, right? This is where the MV is insanely brilliant! Apart from giving us audiences a different perspective visually, it's actually playing with your own logic and consciences. The lyrics could apply both ways and they'd emphasized this point within just the few minutes. 'This isn't love, it isn't love'. How would you know if it is or isn't love? Song-wise, if he likes you, and he shows it to you, then the affection could possibly be turned into such feelings. To me, the way the guy rapped his part, he doesn't sound like a stalker hungry for the girl's love and attention at all, but instead the girl was the one who was afraid to accept him. It could probably be that the girl realised that she was getting insanely in love with the guy now and didn't know how to cope with her own feelings, so she declared that she didn't love him anymore to save herself from the heartbreak, or the commitment it beholds. Hmm confusing much?

Well... I could go on and on and on with this 'review', but I have lotsa work to do right now. I have more points to say about the setting and suchs, but let's just leave my critical digestion for my leadership assignment this semester ayte? :)
