| ♥ Hush Hush My Baby... T^T I'm sad.. so sad.. and so angry.. I've managed to score a 7 for my midsem for this subject, but but.. argh! why is it so unfair! I've expected to be able to tackle all the questions and grab decent marks for it. But why are they asking questions like that? Out of all those two times I've taken microeconomics final exams, I've never seen even one question which was approached like this one does! Honestly, I felt like I was taking a maths/algebra/calculus exam instead of economics. There was this enornous emphasis on marginal equations, and perfect competition. And that's about what I could remember. Oh yea, another one of it consist of Game Theory, and that's it. -_- What happened to all the other topics? What happened to all the other areas of economics that we're supposed to know. During my previous two economics courses that I took (for diploma and a-levels), we were always reminded that graphs are essential in various areas in economics. To understand the theory, we need the graphs. To explain a theory, we need the graphs. And not even one question in the whole exam booklet yesterday asked us to draw graphs, even if it's just for justification. WTH!! Economics don't consist of marginal analysis only! They don't evolve around equations like algebra etc! Why did you keep giving us equations and more equations to solve?!! As of the theory questions that I had expected so much, there were only 2% of it in the whole exam paper. Just imagine.. Even the MCQ questions wasn't anything like the past years' at all!! -_- Furthermore, our short answer questions turned out to be fully 'fill in the blanks'. And there were 50 blanks to fill, which represents 50 marks, which also represents 50% of the final grade... It feels like answering MCQ questions WITHOUT any choices of answers. Please God, have mercy on us... I really really wish that I can get a 7 for this subject. I was so hopeful... :( |
