| ♥ In Heaven Remember the song 'In Heaven' that I posted a few entries back? Well, I've been trying to understand the meaning behind the song and the lyrics. I just think that the song is so special and it contains some hidden feelings that could only be thoroughly comprehended by the native speakers of the song's language. sigh. I really really wish that I can understand Korean, aside from the words 'Gajima', 'Kohdjimal' and 'Saranghae' LOL~ And not only the meaning of it word by word, but the honourifics and expression-wise of the language. I had some hypotheses about the meaning of the song, to who it might be directed to generally. Could it be that the man is singing for a loved one that is already dead? That is, he can't quite accept what has happened? Or could it be that the girl is half-dead? LOL. Because the title stated In Heaven, though there were not a single part in that song initiates a heavenly feeling or beyond happiness. And the composition is bittersweet in a way. The song goes on slow and simple, with steady beats. And the bridge isn't like any other that I've heard so far. The impression that I got when I listened to this song is 'a true love that has to be suppressed'. I don't know about the rest of you, since I'm not a master in korean language anyway. I might be delusional. :p That is all that I want to share today. I wanted to add about something else too, but I think I'll save it for its own entry. It is... the gayest thing I've ever watched in my whole life. -_-; Anyways, chow! ^_^ |
