| ♥ The Break Has Come To An End Hello~ :) First of all, thanks to those who visited my blog (specifically my last entry). And to Hara-chan, I didn't expect you'd post the link on fb LOL~ Anyways, I'm pretty sure that most of you agreed with what I wrote, but some might not. Just remember that it was written solely based on my own personal thoughts. This entire week has been my university's Easter Break, which is going to end this Monday. I went to many places since last Tuesday. That is why I was unable to update this blog, and I'm also a bit behind with the kpop news (although it has only been a few days). Not that the gaps are significant, but you know, when I'm used to it, it's hard when things changes. But I had a LOT of fun on my trips! On Tuesday, I went parasailing with some of my close friends in Brisbane, namely my housemate, ex-housemates and a few of my arabic friends. It was my first time so it was entirely exciting. We managed to get a half-priced voucher for this, that was why we managed to secure this experience. :D We had to travel via public transport to Mariners Cove very early in the morning. I think it was 5.30am, and we had a little bit of a drama haha~ We needed to catch the first train of the day if we were to arrive by 8.30am, since the train journey itself will take an hour, excluding the bus trip towards SeaWorld. Buuut, we missed the first train from Toowong, so we had to take another cab to take us to South Brisbane Railway Station to catch the Gold Coast train. And thank God this time we made it! But barely... xD Mariners Cove was very pretty. There were lots of boats. Since we will parasail from a boat, we got into one at exactly 8.30am. It took us towards the ocean. The day was nice, and the experience was awesome. If you'd wish to fly, you should also try this water sport hehe. And in this picture, is us :D I have to warn though, that it might not be suitable for those who has motion-sickness, because it WILL make you dizzy. But again, it was good fun ^_^ A few of my friends went for the 'water touch', which means that they'd try to lower you down until your feet could touch the sea water (which is super cold!). The first two people to go wanted a water touch, but it took a while for them to be able to touch water because the wind was a bit strong and they didn't weight enough to be brought down. But they still managed to in the end =) The guys had to switch to a smaller parachute for the remaining pairs. We aren't allowed to go solo because we were too light. :p Then we went to Harbour Town to shop! The Easter sales were still on and we managed to get many goods on bargain. I was so happy that the perfume I wanted was on sale. 100ml of an Elizabeth Arden perfume for only A$19!! :D I bought new clothes from Esprit and got a further 30% discount from the already discounted price. I only paid about A$40 of what could've been A$100!! The next day, I went to Movie World with my housemate. Well, I don't have to tell much about this place, because I'm pretty sure many of you already know that this is one of the fun theme parks at Gold Coast. Since the last time I went here, I think they've added 5 new rides, and demolished a few that WAS there, but is there no more. The shows that were on were also different. And I think, somehow, the Movie World has gotten smaller from last time. o.O Maybe it's because of the new roller-coasters. :) And two days ago, I went on a two-day road trip to Sunshine Coast, stopping at a few interesting places along the way. This is when I realised that there are many places worth visiting in Sunshine Coast, when many other people had been telling me that Sunshine Coast is boring... We went to the Strawberry Farm (although they aren't in season yet) and bought strawberries (they're so goooood!!!!!!! I swear!). We also went to the Bellingham Maze (similar like the one Harry Potter went through on his last task in Goblet of Fire :p). This is where I learned that there are plenty more types of puzzles in this world, and I was tempted to buy some of them to show to my family, but they're so expensive! :[ So I only gave it a try at the shop itself. And failed quite miserably, haha~ Other than that, we also stopped at Castle Bli Bli (cute name huh?) which is like an English castle, but smaller. We had to solve a puzzle and I received a free lolly for getting the right answer~ :D Inside the castle was a bit spooky, because they stored too many dolls. (yikes). But it was fun to get spooked together with friends. ^^ Another of our stops is the Maleny Dairy Farm. Here, we learned how they produced milk, and for the first time in my life, I tasted milk straight from the cow's tits! LOL! Ok, not that I sucked on the tits... -_- I put my palm forward and the person giving the tour sprayed some onto my palm and I licked it from there. And surprisingly, it tasted GOOD! :D The fifth place that we went to is the Noosa Heads National Park. The Noosa National Park is very big along the Sunshine Coast, so make sure that you know which area of it that you want to go, or you'll most probably get lost. LOL! We went to the area near Laguna Bay, bush walked to Boiling Pot and Dolphine Point, talked and laughed along the way. There were many surfers walking up and down the bush-walk. Some of them were very friendly and talked to us. :) The place was refreshing, and definitely a sight you'd rarely see elsewhere. The rain came and gone throughout our trip, but I think that is what made the trip more fun that it would sound. ^^ There were five cars which went in total, and we made two convoys. My convoy group often got lost even with a GPS. It's true that the GPS will force you to go across a lake if that is what is on its route. SO, never trust a GPS, unless you have a paper version of the map with you as a reference. Because for me, whenever the GPS commands to turn into a regular road, I would ALWAYS rebel and search for a Motorway (main roads), better off a Highway whenever possible. The car that I was in was supposed to be the last of the three cars in our convoy (like a sweeper in hiking expeditions), but in the end, we ended up leading the convoy because my housemate and I (we were in the same car :D) had experiences as navigators. So we guided the way, and we never got lost again after that. *CLAPS* And so, that is what I did during my break. Now I will need to re-focus on my coming exams! Income Tax Law and Microeconomics, which happens to be held on the very same day, one after another. *sigh* So... that is it! See you on my next entry! :)
