| ♥ I'm Back at Brisbane! It's been more than a week now... Initially I wanted to post an entry a few days ago, but then I suddenly found something more fun to do and I pushed this task aside without meaning to.. haha.. Please pardon my selfishness. Good things and bad things happened.. Even weird ones too.. Now I live with two new housemates, one being my junior from KY, and the other one is the junior of a friend. I have no idea why that friend of mine could push her away so gladly.. But whatever, my priority now is to get a third person who we could share the rent burden with. ;) It was extremely busy the first few days after I arrived. The point of discovering the exact condition of this place was... a bit devastating. I can't bear to think about any of it anymore. I would just like to let things be, rather than discovering 'Oh shit! Where's my _____?!!!!' Because the only answer is that 'It's gone with the floods...' -__-; I'm tired of re-thinking those over and over, because it would only make me sad, because the stuff that I'm discovering to be gone are very very dear personal stuff... I'm never gonna bring my favourite stuff over here again... But on the bright side, the unit is now looking good and new! They're not using the carpets anymore, and we now have a new and huge fridge, along with a new dishwasher (although we practically never used it).. I had hoped that they'll install a new electric oven, but nope.. sigh.. I now sleep in the biggest room in the unit. hehe.. I actually really really loved my old room, but I can't simply surrender all the luxuries of life and let all the new people get all the fun.. I've decided to enjoy the ensuite bedroom while it lasts.. Maybe next year I'd move to the room nextdoor, but I'll let time decide that.. :) |
