♥ Random Thoughts

I'm listening to Still In Love again while blog-walking. I just stumbled upon a video about hitler getting angry over the immoral behaviour by the Malaysian youth nowadays. Damn, that video is funny. I'd like to share with you guys here, but I accidentally closed the tab, so better luck next time. heh. After that video, I purposely visited the creator's site. It's kind of similar to Obif!end's blog in the sense of the owners writing entries about the community. Obi's blog is more offensive in my opinion compared to his though.

I just don't understand. Why are they making it a trend of making these kinds of blog entries? I know they can be useful to open the eyes of those stubborn trouble-makers. But I doubt the message would really deliver to the majority. The entries does open our minds to new perspectives, which I appreciate since everyone has different opinions, and the more bold they become the more people will listen, but human has their own limits of acceptance. Sure, some says they enjoy the entries, laughed at the comments and all, but did the contents really absorb into their heads? Could they really see what's underneath behind the intentional insults? Could they change to become a better person in this society after reading that entry?

A friend introduced me to Obi's blog, because she thinks I would love reading the entries. Yeah, right... I can see that Obi's approach is interesting and intriguing. But at the end of the first entry I read from there, all I could think of is that the writer is too much. I was just about to absorb everything in gladly during the middle of the entry, but I end up with a frown and dissatisfaction. I thought the entry was more offensive than helpful. Sure, some Malaysians need those bold sentences to make them See the global situation at hand, but those entry could do more damage to others than it could benefit those thick heads. He's building a new world, and destroying another at the same time. I could just see the latter developing much faster.

The comments from his blog made me think, is the Malaysians today really like this? At a point, I became scared of our community. Not because of the violence, but because of the corruption and failure in building a respectful society. And at a point, I am ashamed and sad. Do I really have no power to make things better?

But no matter where I stand, this is still my home. I still love it the way it is. Though I would be more proud if things were a little bit better...

Let's end this entry with another one of my favourite Tohoshinki performances. hehehe. (Just to forget about this stupid thing for a while)

I could embed this video all over the place. I just realised that at one point in this video, the proof of Jaejoong being a tone-deaf when he was younger showed. But still, I couldn't be more proud of him. He has achieved so many with his own hard work. I wish to become like him, or even better. I will slowly connquer my way to the top. Just wait... :)
